Can't find Ninjatrader Version

Hi there,

I just installed the trial, opened up NT, compiled and tried to run the strategy analyzer with DSTCreateModelTest and getting the following in the logs:

2022/05/09 11:18 | ES ##-## |
2022/05/09 11:18 | ES ##-## | Deep Signal Library Version 1.1.1.369
2022/05/09 11:18 | ES ##-## | Could not find NinjaTrader Version
2022/05/09 11:18 | ES ##-## | Done reading data for ES ##-##

I didn't install a newer version or change anything after installing the software.

I've also tried restarting to see if that works but nothing.
I was hoping I find a config file somewhere to see if it's something I could update.

Thanks,
Phil

Hi Phil,

Thank you for the post. That will be fixed in the next release. NinjaTrader 8.0.26 changed some registry items from the previous version. That's more of an informational message so you should be able to create machine learning models ok though. Please let us know if there are any issues creating or using machine learning models.

Yeah unfortunately it doesn't work at all. There is no popup of your app or anything other than the log file in the folders when trying to work.

Same problem still in version 1.1.2.371.  I'm trying the free trial. Also it seems not to work without a license... does the free trial need a license?  I didn't get one in an email or anywhere else.  Logs:

Found the activation key. It was hiding in the PDF invoice. It would be more obvious if you included it in the signup email as well.

Thanks for posting. The Activation Id should come in a separate email. You can always go to https://www.deepsignal.tech/customer/downloadableproducts and click on your Order Number and it should show the Activation Id under the Order Notes.
